How Did You Treat Me Yesterday?

Wednesday, September 14, 2016 - Joe Kiedinger

How healthy is your culture? Culture is described as a feeling your brand portrays to your customers. This feeling can happen naturally, but when executed this way, you usually do not get a desirable result. Good news! It can be methodically planned and executed. Yes, it can happen, you can plan a winning culture that gets results. To understand this, let’s explore what makes up a healthy culture.

If I were to boil it down to a simple explanation, a winning culture focuses first on the desired behaviors of the collective group. Behavior = Culture and Culture = Results, therefore, Behavior = Results. The human mind is a sensitive thing. When the annual surveys are handed out to employees asking them for feedback on the culture, a natural phenomenon happens. People will reflect on how they were treated in the last couple of days.

You may be a rock star leader 363 days of the year, but if you lost your composure a day or two before the survey is taken it will influence the result.  Suddenly, this place isn’t that great and those two days reflect poor scores. It’s the “how did you treat me yesterday” syndrome. Therefore, creating a consistent customer experience through a methodical culture system is critical in today’s competitive environment. It can be done, we can help you. It’s our passion and honor, and we have a success formula that works.

So ask yourself this, if a survey was taken tomorrow for the people you interact with, how would you fare?
