Teamwork… Works!

My family, as many of our readers know, are musical. My son plays guitar, my three girls perform, and we love going to live theater as a family. There is one sport that Danica and I love to watch and play, and that’s volleyball! I forgot the power of team when it comes to sports, until this past Saturday.
Here is a picture of my daughter, Aria (second from the left) and some of her teammates. Amelia (my 9-year old) and Aria were involved in an all day tournament in Wisconsin Dells this past Saturday. While Aria was excited to play all day, Amelia was cautious. Her sisters convinced her to participate with her team.
Both of the girls did great! As soon as they began playing, their spirits and engagement soared. They played at a higher level than I’ve ever seen in the past. Teamwork matters and your company culture matters.
Do your players get along? Are they on the same page? Do they have each other’s back? Culture is like a team. Everyone knows their position, are motivated in that position, and can freely communicate.
