Part 4 – Relationships Then ROI

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

How much value do you put on fun in your organization? Being a fun person myself, this is very important to me. I’m not talking about ‘team building’ events where everyone participates with a moderator doing goofy things to “bond the team.” I’m talking about just having fun!

About two months ago, one of our client’s leadership team revealed their “It” (Their Why, What and How of the organization) at Miller Park. It was phenomenal! Approximately 1,400 people gathered for the first time in company history at this event. Our Prophiteers gathered the data, discovered their ‘It’, put the presentation together, set the theme and produced and directed the show. It was amazing!

It was that event that inspired an idea. This past Saturday, we sponsored a Brewers bus and boy, did we have a great time. Tailgating, laughter, camaraderie and to top it all off, the Brewers beat the Mets!

I believe these fun outings are a great investment. We got to know spouses and significant others and we were able to bond with each other. Those are memories that will last! Positive relationships will build R.O.I. every single time.
