Lessons from our daughters!

Wednesday, January 21, 2015 - Joe Kiedinger

Daughters, I love them! These three girls of mine, being so close in age (7, 10 and 12) really have taught me a few lessons. My great friend Rob has three daughters as well…lucky for all of us! He and I are great friends, our wives are great friends and the three girls, all the same age, are besties as well! Truly blessed. Here are the top five things I’ve learned from my girls:

1) It’s okay to cry.
2) Look for the funny. No matter what is said, something is always funny. (hee hee hee – all the time)
3) Every play date should turn into a sleepover.
4) It’s OK to cuddle.
5) It’s more fun to sleep on the floor in a group.

While our wives were gone together on a girl’s vacation, Rob and I brought our girls skiing. What a blast. I love my girls!

ACTION PLAN: Cuddle with the girls in your life tonight! Doesn’t matter the age.
