How To Show Your Social Followers You Care!

Monday, February 6, 2017 - Joe Kiedinger

One of the main reasons we love social media so much is that it’s a simple way to interact and grow relationships. We use it here at Prophit for a number of different reasons including sharing important information, providing customer service and showing gratitude to our followers. So we’re giving you three tips on how to show your social followers some love this Valentine’s Day!

1. Make them Feel Loved

OnValentine's Day - Blog (1).pnge of the most important things we can do as social media marketers is to make sure our followers feel that their voices are heard. We want our followers or customers to know that they can communicate with us through social media and expect to get a response. That’s why it’s so important to respond to everything, both positive and negative. Even if they aren’t reaching out to you about a problem, it’s still impor
tant to respond in order to establish a relationship they can trust. A good rule of thumb is to respond within one hour of their question or comment. Even if you don’t have an answer right away, that’s okay! Let them know you’re looking into it and give them a time frame on when they can expect to hear back from you.

 2. Share Their Content

If a follower shares a raving review or a photo of your product make sure you acknowledge it by sharing it. You want to let them know you are grateful they are a customer and that they took time out of their busy day to post the photo or review.

3.  Reward Them

One of the best things you can do for your followers it to reward them with rich and engaging content. Their newsfeeds are constantly being filled with irrelevant and wasteful content and when you provide them with rich content you’re already rewarding them. You can even take it one step further and post a special offer or coupon on your page for followers only.

By following these three easy tips, your followers will see how much you care about them. As a result, you’ll grow your social media presence and will strengthen your brand.
