No, this is not an outdated post from some New Years past. This is fresh, off the press and meant for right now, early September – the first day of school! Who hoo! To me this feels more like New Years than New Years does; it’s a fresh beginning. Football season is getting under way, the air will begin feeling crisp and for most people, business starts picking up.
I feel like the last three months were filled with vacation days to make up and a lot of time spent with family. Not just mine, but business colleagues as well. Doesn’t it feel like once June hits, people prepare to shut down a bit? Kind of like we crossed the finish line and it’s time to party! Well, the party is over and I’m glad, therefore I’m making September 1st the unofficial New Years. So, make your resolutions now on what you’re going to accomplish this year. Because if you wait until January… well, your year is almost up. It ends June 20th!
