I can’t believe it. I began “Wisdom on Wednesday” 15 years ago this week in 2004. It’s amazing how blogging can help you create a personal diary of your life!
This week, I’d like to focus on family! First and foremost, I have an awesome wife who values family time, so when I suggested two years ago that I would like to have a brothers-only trip, she totally understood. As we are getting older, you never know what lies in the future.
As kids, we grew up skiing at Ski Brule in Florence County, Wisconsin. Mom and Dad rented a trailer and we had season passes. It seemed just about every weekend we were skiing. I continued the tradition—my family skis every winter. 
However, my brothers, not so much. This year, we went to Steamboat Ski Resort in Colorado. Pictured here: my brother-in-law Tom, who I’ve known since I’ve been ten, and my brother Dan (Tom on the right, Dan on the left). My brother Dave is donning his 1985 ski apparel! Wow, it still fits!
We all turn into kids again when we get together. The memories start being shared and the laughs never stop. I love these guys. My other brother-in-law, Peter, is not a skier and decided to stay back. We call ourselves “The Advisors.” We debate, share and guide one another on life’s journey.
Thanks for allowing me to share thoughts with you over the last 15 years. Here’s to at least 15 more!
