This quote from Walt Disney is a powerful one and is also the main thing visionary leaders must accomplish.
“Of all the things I have done, the most vital is coordinating the talents of those who work for us and pointing them towards a certain goal.”
I call this “About Who.” It’s one thing to know the skill sets of your employees, but its entirely a different thing to understand what motivates them. When you combine both, total engagement follows.
Engagement can be easily explained as, “The positive emotional connection with a company.” I’ve been spending nearly my whole career studying this aspect of marketing. Communicating and leading in such a way that inspires the hearts of men and women. It’s been an awesome journey.
