Change Will Not Escape Time!

I’m back from a wonderful vacation across the sea! Danica and I just returned from an adventure-filled cruise in the Caribbean. During our trip, we embarked on an ATV adventure to learn about the island of St. Lucia.
St. Lucia was once one of the largest producers of sugar in the world. Sadly, this industry was built on slave labor. When sugar prices plummeted and labor prices increased, the island lost its main source of income and its people stripped the land of its sugar cane fields and began building their tourism industry. 
This picture, from our ATV stop, shows an old water wheel that once was powered by the natural water flow on the island. This allowed a grinder to process the sugar cane right in the field.
It goes to show that change is imminent. It’s just a matter of time before things change. When you look at your business, what is changing in your world that you’re not facing?
It’s critical to seek and embrace ways to change for the better. It doesn’t have to be something to fear when approached proactively. Make your “play” for the future. We can help if you like.
