A Taste of Prophit History: Celebrating 11 Years with Lisa Pritzl

Monday, November 13, 2017 - Nathan Walasek

Today, we are celebrating our Agency Director’s 11th anniversary with Prophit. I had the opportunity to sit down with Lisa Pritzl and learn more about our leader and her history with the company.

From the day Lisa first knocked on the door at J. Kiedinger Advertising (Prophit’s former name), she has proven to be one enthusiastic, persistent, and independent woman.

Q: How did you get your start here and what various roles have you held over the years?

A: “One day, I was going door to door handing out business cards and one of the places I stopped was J. Kiedinger Advertising on 9th Street here in Green Bay. Initially, they said they didn’t need any graphic design help. But, soon after I got a call for a brochure project and the rest was history.

I was a Process Partner for three years before becoming an official Prophiteer. I started as the agency’s first Graphic Designer. Then, I was promoted to Art Director, Process Management Director/Art Director, Account Manager, and now I’m Agency Director. I’ve had a unique experience working in all areas of the business. It’s one of the things I love about this agency.”

Q: What else do you love about working at Prophit?

A: “I would have to say, our people and our culture. I also admire the entrepreneurial mindset of this agency. I have created each of my roles here at Prophit and I think that says a lot about Joe and Danica’s (co-owners of Prophit) open-minded nature. They trust us and grant us with autonomy.”

Q: You’ve worked at almost all of our locations! Do you have a favorite desk?

A: “My favorite is the one I built myself. On my first day, I brought scrap wood from home, my own chair, and my own computer!”

Q: What do you wish people knew about Prophit?

A: “Every client has a unique set of needs and we make it right for each one. Our group has such a diverse range of backgrounds that there’s nothing we can’t figure out. We’re more than a production agency. We face tons of different obstacles and come up with specialized solutions for every need. Also, there’s so much ability for growth and opportunity here. We’re constantly reaching for the next level.”

Q: Any funny stories you’d like to share?

A: “There have been so many unexpected events where I have just doubled-over laughing. Working in an environment with so many passionate people who are excited and engaged has led to so many great moments. I have really enjoyed our company LOV (Living Our Values) Events where we get a chance to break away from the office and get to know each other on a deeper level.”

Q: What’s next for you?

A: “In line with my love of performance, I’ll be competing in the 10th annual American Red Cross Dancing with Our Stars, All-Star Edition on February 24th. This season they’re bringing together former dancers for one final show. I also competed in 2015 and raised $53,000. This year, our overall goal is to raise $600,000, so I’ll be looking for donations to support the cause. Any and all contributions are awesome! They’ll be bringing in some famous dancers, Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovski, for special appearances, so it should be a good time.”
