No regrets!
Wednesday, March 4, 2015 - Joe Kiedinger
A survey was done of men and women ages 90 and above. They were asked one question: If you could live your life over again what would you do differently?
The responses were remarkably similar. They agreed:
1) They would risk more
2) They would reflect more
3) And they would do more so that they would be remembered after death
Wow, if that’s not great advice, I don’t know what is. And I’m sure that if you had the chance to ask your own grandparents or great-grandparents before they passed, they would’ve told you the same. Because it turns out that all that matters in the end is this: What difference did our lives make?
The real question is, now that we know this, will we act on it?
Don’t wait until you’re 90 to reflect on your life and have regrets! Reflect now so that you won’t have regrets! What can you do here and now to make a difference in the world? What are your talents? How can you use them to help others?
