Are you… Green and Growing, or Ripe and Rotting?

I love Spring. Spring puts hope in people. Within weeks the landscape in Wisconsin goes from browns and grays to greens and whites and pinks. Flowering Cherry, Crab Apple, Pear, Apple and other fruit trees blossom. What was once drab is now full of color and hope.
Business is a lot like a plant. It’s either green and growing or ripe and rotting. There is no staying the same. I caution you if you’re content and are “big enough”.
You must grow your business or you will become irrelevant. Like a plant, there is also no staying the same.
We try to keep our veggies and fruits fresh by freezing them. Sure, they’re still edible, but they certainly don’t taste as good as when they are plucked in their perfect ripe state and eaten just before they start the rotting phase.
Here’s to being Green and Growing in your business, in your family and for yourself!
