Power of Positive
Wednesday, November 29, 2017 - Joe Kiedinger
Is positivity a part of your culture? A client we work with is working hard to disperse positive energy into their department. This board requests, “Tell Me Something Good!” It’s often the little things that help to make work more pleasant.
There is so much negativity in life, unfortunately. Here at Prophit, we begin each day with a 15-minute huddle. We all come together at 9 a.m. A Prophiteer picks one of our values and shares a personal story of what it means to them and even honors others for living it with a real example.
We end the short meeting giving out “gameballs”. Gameballs are quick little notes of appreciation given out to fellow Prophiteers for a job well done. It starts our day on a positive note.
Many people think they need to begin with a drawn out, complicated program to help engage employees. It really begins by doing a series of little things. Pick one, practice it over time and then slowly introduce a new positive tradition in your daily business. You will feel a difference.
